No numerus clausus (NC), which primarily takes school grades into account, is used as admission criterion, but a qualitative admission procedure is carried out: two interviews with experienced psychotherapists as well as a one-day group seminar are intended to enable the candidates to clarify their motivation and to convey the prerequisites for our study programme.

Methodological emphases are set by psychoanalysis or behavioural therapy after the first four general semesters; further school-specific emphases such as person-centred psychotherapy, systemic psychotherapy or Gestalt therapy are in preparation. We follow a pluralistic methodological model in our training, which enables us to “look over the fence” already in the Bachelor programme. Also read our press release on this topic (in German).
