State-recognised Training Institute for Psychotherapy
The Psychotherapeutic Teaching Institute of SFU Berlin is a state-recognised training centre for psychotherapy. The admission requirements for training as a psychological psychotherapist require a completed relevant diploma degree or a combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in clinical psychology. For admission to postgraduate training as a child and adolescent psychotherapist, a Master’s degree in psychology, pedagogy or social pedagogy recognised in Germany is required in addition to personal suitability.

Due to the university integration in accordance with the amendment of the law, SFU Berlin guarantees a fully comprehensive psychotherapy training in the sense of the “Scientific-Praticioner-Model”.
